Nancy Drew Timeline

November 13, 2009

For the Nancy Drew anniversary, I came up with the idea of doing a Nancy Drew time line. The overall time line would just be for The Secret of the Old Clock through Crime at the Ch@t Cafe. Because this is a very big task (299 books) I thought it would be easier- and a lot more fun -if it was a group project. Here are the details:

1. Anyone who is interested in helping out with the time line can post a comment on this thread with the book or books that they will read and take notes on.

2. A person would read the book(s), such as ‘The Hidden Staircase’, taking note of any outside dates mentioned (i.e. ‘Nancy sat on the front porch in unbelief that hardly two weeks had past since her last mystery.’ etc, etc…) and the days passing in the book.

3. Once finished reading, the person could come on to the appointed thread and post their notes; OR, Once finished reading, the person can email their notes to mysterysleuthweb@gmail.com with the subject ‘ND Time Line’, their nickname and the title of the book with the days that occured.

4. In April, 2010 (or whenever finished) Mystery Sleuth will post a ‘fancy’ version of the time line, including the name or nickname of the contributors.

It’s a little basic at the moment- if there is anything that does not make sense to you or if you have a question, please feel free to post [on THIS thread].
